Neil Bowden R&D Tax Consultant After graduation from university with an MBiolSci in Molecular Biology in 2013, Neil decided to undertake a PhD in Cardiovascular Science. Neil’s PhD research – funded by the British Heart Foundation – combined elements of cell biology, biomechanics and bioengineering towards the investigation of the genetic and mechanical factors behind the early stages of heart disease. He presented his work at national and international conferences and co-authored several papers during his studies. Neil has a particular interest in the business side of research and science communication.
