Andrew Paschalis
Andrew is a Consultant within Markel Tax, formerly Gabelle’s Tax Investigations team. Andrew has over 7 years’ experience in the field, including six years at HMRC as a fully trained inspector, where he spent time within HMRC’s Fraud Investigation Service offshore team, as well as two years within HMRC’s Large business directorate. More recently Andrew has worked at a ‘Big Four’ firm assisting clients, including Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and trusts, in dealing with HMRC enquiries and resolving historical offshore tax matters using HMRC’s various disclosure facilities.

Andrew has significant experience dealing with all types of HMRC enquiries’ including Code of Practice 8 and 9 enquires, and has a detailed knowledge of information powers, HMRC penalties and the sources of information available to HMRC.
