The role of the Receptionist is to support our Tax Advice Lines and our Tax Fee Protection business dealing with all incoming calls to the business

Duties and accountabilites
  • Answer the telephone within set service standards and direct calls appropriately.
  • Log calls accurately on to the in-house call logging database.
  • Provide administrative support to individual departments.
  • Log documents on to the in-house database.
  • Distribute post, send out post, frank and issue courier packs when needed.
  • Assist with adhoc tasks and be ‘front line’ support to the office.
  • Support colleagues in greeting visitors appropriately.
  • Support colleagues in ensuring reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation.
Skills, knowledge and experience

The successful candidate will:

 Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Possess the ability to deal with a large number of telephone calls each day.
  • Have demonstrable customer service skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Be able to multitask and have excellent time-management skills.
